What is a Jacketed kettle?

A jacketed kettle is also known as a steam cooker, a cooking pot, and a sandwich steam cooker. Classification

Stainless Steel Jacketed Steam Kettle

•    The connection adopts Tri-clamp, the tanks’ inner use 304 or 316L. The inner surface mirror polishing Ra≤0.28μm~0.6μm. Outer surface can be polished, wiredrawn, sandblasted according to customer’s requirement.

Jacketed Steam Kettle can configure thermometer(Digital display or Dial type), pressure gauge, sight glasses, sanitary manhole, liquid in-outlet, CIP cleaning ball and so on, also can configure as customers’ requirement.

Texture of material

Operation method of sandwich pan

  • 1., first of all, check whether the power is connected well, whether there is electricity leakage or not. When you operate, you must dry up and do not bring water to prevent electric shock.
  • 2., during the operation of the interlayer pot, we should always pay attention to the temperature change of the heat conduction oil, and the heat conduction oil should not exceed 1500C. (controlled by electric cabinet), timely and pay attention to high speed temperature.
  • 3. vertical electric heating interlayer pot, heating material to the required temperature, releasing material from bottom of the pot.
  • 4., the equipment should be refueling at the rotating parts before each shift. Stirring the pot sandwich components, decent on the pan, recommend the use of cooked vegetable oil using mechanical oil and other places.
  • 5. in the use of the process, the gas hole can not be blocked, otherwise the oil temperature is too high accident, the tilting type jacketed kettle in the material should first plug the hole, to prevent hot oil spill.
  • 6., after the use is completed, the power shall be cut off first, and the tap water is added immediately to protect the electric heating rod part and prolong the service life.
  • Use attention
  • 1, steam pressure is not allowed to exceed the fixed working pressure for a long time.
  • 2, the intake valve should be slowly opened, until the pressure is required, the shut-off valve at the outlet of the condensate, if the trap is installed, should eventually open the valve; if no trap is used, the valve is open until the steam is spillover, and the opening degree is kept in a small amount of water vapor spillover.
  • 3, the safety valve can be adjusted automatically according to the user’s own steam pressure.
  • 4, during the use of steam pot, we should pay attention to the change of vapor pressure and adjust the inlet valve timely.
  • 5, after stopping the intake, open the cock cock of the bottom of the pot and open the remaining water.
  • 6, the tilting and mixing type sandwich pan, before each class should be used, should be refueling in the various rotating parts; mixing sandwich pan on the body of the parts, recommended use of cooked vegetable oil; other parts of the use of 30#–40# mechanical oil.

Maintenance

  • 1, inlet pipe and outlet pipe joint leakage, tighten the nut when the problem is not resolved, should add or replace the packing.
  • 2, pressure gauge and safety valve should be checked regularly. If there is any fault, it should be changed and repaired in time.
  • 3, the reducer start to use 50 hours, should be removed to release oil, use kerosene or diesel oil, add 30#–40# clean oil, use 150 hours later, second times, after the specific condition, every use to 1000 hours to change oil once.
  • 4, rust proof oil spalling, should be timely painted, painted the outer pot of paint, it is recommended to use X55-3 aluminum powder ethylene water resistant paint.
  • 5, after 5 years’ application, the safety water pressure test is recommended. After that, the interval time of hydraulic pressure test will be carried out according to the requirements of various technical departments. Water pressure test pressure P water is determined as follows: When the rated working air pressure P is <0.6MPa, the P water =0.15MPa.
  • When the rated working pressure is P =0.6-0.8MPa, P water =P +0.3MPa
  • 6, the outer pot of the pot is made of 4.0~5.5 mm thick steel plate, and the steel number A3. When the outer pot has been thinned to 2mm below many years, it should be stopped.
  • 7. The welding of stainless steel in this pot and the joint of stainless steel and other steels should be made of stainless steel electrode 102, Austria 107, Austria 132 and 137. It is not suitable to use other brands.
